What to Expect
Survey Visit
Just call us to arrange a free survey visit and no obligation quote. One of our engineer surveyors (not a sales person) will take you through the options available that best suit your needs and your home. We measure and perform a camera survey as needed and a quotation is then provided the next working day. As we believe you need some time to make your decision and maybe talk it over with family or friends, we leave you to call us if you are interested, so there is no obligation or pressure sales calls. Before placing an order, you may like to visit our showroom to ‘try, before you buy’.
Ordering
When you’re ready to order your stairlift, simply call our friendly admin team to make the arrangements. We will advise on delivery lead times and make any necessary appointments required before installation. For example, our electrician may provide a new spur for power to your stairlift, or our plumber may remove and replace a radiator in your hallway. (N.B. These are not hidden extras, as they would have all been included in our quotation, where necessary).
Installation
Once we have a delivery date for your stairlift, we will call to arrange a convenient time for your stairlift to be installed by one of our professionally trained engineers. Installation typically takes around 4 hours and we will remove all packaging and leave your home clean and tidy.
Aftercare & Service
At Dolphin we don’t just sell stairlifts – we install, service and maintain them. We even buy them back when they are no longer needed (subject to age and condition).
Call-outs, repairs and labour are all included in the initial warranty, however aftercare is often overlooked by some companies – where, for them, making a sale is more important. We offer to look after your stairlift even after the initial warranty has expired and can provide a Service Contract or a one-off service for your peace of mind.
