I was in a very awkward situation not being able to move furniture in and out of our flat due to stairlift narrowing the stairway down, after ringing numerous chairlift companies who gave me very long waiting times, my next call was Dolphin stairlifts well what can I say the young lady on the end of the phone was so obliging she managed to fit us in within days to their already busy work load, it doesn’t end there the engineer Ben was a dream to help sort out our little problem nothing was too much for him, so, so abliging he was brilliant, so I would like to say a big thank you to Dolphin stairlifts a great company and the kind of service you don’t find every day.

Hello everyone , i am registered blind with a guide dog and have other medical issues . We have had a stair lift fitted yesterday WOW we are so so happy with it it will make our life more easier for us . Could not have been nicer, kinder, better quality, more caring. I have had a run of rip-off tradesmen and I was dreading Dolphin coming, but they behaved as though they were my sons. They were wonderful, and the head office in Crediton answers promptly, solves your problems straight away, and again, are really nice people.
PS about the complaint below about a £70 call out charge, that is very cheap. I have just paid another company £160 to change a washer on the experienced, it is a shame that Mr Bennet thought Dolphin should work for free.

My husband and I were getting in a bit of a muddle looking at stairlifts online. An OT recommended Dolphin, and I’m so glad she did. It was easy to find, easy to get in to and it had a great mix of straight and curved stairlifts to try.

Words escape me !!
My 104 year old mother living alone in Totnes had a problem with her stair lift.
The engineer I met and mentioned he had just come around the corner from another job.
We went in and he found she had some how turned the lift off.
He turned it on and left.
She has now received a £70 bill and the company say …..oh yes that is our standard charge!
And I say Shame on you Dolphin!!!
No understanding at all or mention of a reduction ,
The parting words were Well at least you didn’t have to pay for any parts..

Excellent customer service, delightful people

I have recently purchased a refurbished stairlift from the lovely people at Dolphin stairlifts. They are a very accommodating family firm who listen to your needs and suggest the best solutions offering a very personal service. From Perry who did the survey and Sean who did the installation to the lovely Natalie in the office they are all delightful people who are only too pleased to help, so if you are looking to replace or purchase a first stairlift I would highly recommend you contact the Dolphin company and have a chat with them first.
They do not pressure you to take out a service contract and if you are on a budget their prices are very reasonable, don’t think you will find a company to beat them! Thank you Dolphin 👍
